Almost every major brand and retail store are selling out of the BOYFRIEND JEAN...yes you heard me right...

The first time I noticed that this was actually a trend was when I saw Katie Holmes recently and wondered..WHOA... Katie is like me...she likes men's jeans too...lol BUT THEN IT STARTED TO POP UP EVERYWHERE!!!

But not only is Katie Holmes wearing this must have jean for this season, so is Victoria Beckham, Rachel Bilson and Lindsay Lohan (only follow her style...not her way of life :0) )

So if you are a lover of all things comfy and fashionable like me, check out these celebs!

The best way to pull of this hot look is to keep it simple. Don't do over baggy and always try to pair them with a feminine top and shoe. Flat sandals or pumps makes this style jean look great. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS roll the bottom of the jean just above the ankle, With that being said, buy them in a straight fit. Buying a jean with a wider opening just isn't flattering when trying to pull off this look.

If you like recession proof style like me, you don't have to buy from a major retailer! Go to your local consignment or thrift store looks just as great. I bought a pair of stone wash Levi's for $3.00!!! SWEEEEET

Its been a very interesting year so far...we are well into the month of February and my plans have changed. I had another birthday and discovered some things about myself. Self discovery is great and even greater with a soundtrack to go along with it.

The Grammy's.....I still don't get it

My feeling is this, for you to win in your category of music is okay and all but who the F cares. Wheeew!!!, you beat 3 or 4 other artists whose albums came out like a year or so ago.
Until you win Album of the Year then you should have somthing to jump about. Until you do an Outkast move and just shut all your competitors down winning Album of the Year, then you should have something to jump about.
And I've noticed that recent A.O.T.Y. awards have gone to people that are either legends in their on right, or have faced some kind of backlash of controversy for example Herbie Hancock (which was well deserved), Dixie Chicks (who's a fan of them???), and last nights winner Robert Plant [i.e. Led Zeppelin; Legendary Rock-n-Roll] & Alison Krauss. In my opinion A.O.T.Y. should have gone to Coldplay for "Viva La Vida". But this is just my opinion.
But Like I said, The Grammy's.....I still don't get it.
Well, the best performance of the night in my opinion (it sure as hell ain't what you thinnk).

DOPE

January 2009 marks the release of Tabi Bonney's album DOPE. The cd dropped on January 20th with a cd release party at the Adidas store in Georgetown (DC) on January 17th. The Crayola Kid and I were sooooo there, were you???

Alot of press has surrounded this album. Mr. Bonney was featured in the Washington Post, Smooth Magazine, and was seen on DC week on MTV2...sweeeet. Also he did guest hosting on local radio stations along with fellow DC native Raheem DeVaughn.

I was fortunate to be apart of this experience. For two weekends I spent my time shooting videos with Tabi for his first two singles, "Duhh" and "Rich Kids". Talk about a great time! I met so many cool people and met the reserved Tabi Bonney. On camera, Mr. Bonney is fun and exciting but behind the scenes he is sooooo chill. At first I was like wow, but watching him I could tell that he was just taking the whole experience in and loving every moment of it. This is something that I can completely understand....seeing your city on the come up is a wonderful feeling.
